God didn’t give us a spirit of Fear. (Don’t forget that…) I was living in fear again last night, texted Dad, and he reminded me that God told us to not let our hearts be troubled or afraid. He didn’t tell me not to go to school… he told me to “Believe God for favor and courage.” We can’t let the tragedies turn us into hermit crabs, imprisoned in our own homes. We have to face our fears. Are we never going to send our kids to school? Are we never going to see a movie in a theater again? Are we never going to go to church again? You can’t always stop the bad… but Jesus Christ can walk you through it, Holding your hand the whole way. Don’t forget what He did for us. Don’t forget He didn’t give us a spirit of fear. Instead of remembering the evil in the world, remember the good that by so much far outweighs all the bad. For every bad man there must be a hundred or more good men. Let us think on these things. Let’s walk towards the light in this darkness. There’s freedom in the light.
